Insurance & Payment Information

South Island Orthopaedic Group participates in most major insurance plans, including Medicare, NYS Worker’s Compensation and No-Fault. You are responsible for co-payments, which are due on the day of service, as well as any co-insurance and/or deductibles as outlined in your insurance plan. If you have any questions regarding billing or to find out if we accept your insurance plan, please contact us.

All questions regarding your individual insurance coverage and benefits should be directed to your employer or insurance company.

Instructions for Your Initial Appointment

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment time so that we can process your initial paperwork. Also, please bring the following items:

  • Patient’s insurance card
  • A photo ID (i.e., driver’s license)
  • List of current prescriptions and/or over-the counter medication, including dose and frequency
  • Information about patient’s medical and surgical history
  • Recent test results, x-rays, or relevant records
  • A referral from your Primary Care Physician if needed

Tuesday 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
Wednesday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Thursday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
Friday  8:00 am to 3:00 pm
